AIWhisper provides live analysis of online lessons: an AI notetaker joins a meeting, transcribes the conversation, and gives the tutor live engagement and teaching feedback plus an end-of-lesson report. This policy explains what data that involves.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address and a hashed password.
• Lesson audio — while a session is running, meeting audio is streamed to our servers and passed to a speech-to-text service to produce a transcript. Audio is processed in transit and is not retained as a recording.
• Transcripts and analysis — the text transcript of the lesson, speaker labels (tutor/student names as shown in the meeting), and the AI-generated feedback about engagement and teaching quality.
• Session metadata — meeting link, session times, subject, and the tutor name entered when starting a session.
• Support messages — issue reports and feature requests you submit through the portal.

How we use it

Solely to provide the service: live feedback during the lesson, session reports, and per-account statistics. We do not sell personal data and we do not use lesson content for advertising.

Processors we rely on

• MeetingBaaS — operates the notetaker bot that joins the meeting and captures audio.
• ElevenLabs — converts lesson audio to text.
• Google (Gemini) — analyses transcripts to produce engagement and teaching feedback.

Each processor receives only what it needs (audio or transcript text) to perform its function.

Retention

• Live session data (transcripts, feedback timeline, session metadata) is kept in short-term storage and automatically deleted within roughly 12 hours of the session.
• Session reports (PDF) are generated on demand from that data while it exists.
• Account data and support messages are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Recording consent

The tutor who starts a session is responsible for informing all meeting participants (and, for minors, their guardians where applicable) that the lesson is being transcribed and analysed, and for obtaining any consent required by local law. The notetaker bot appears as a visible participant in the meeting.
